The Monaco Grand Prix invariably tempts a few Formula 1 teams into special livery variations and 2026 will be no exception.
We’ll round up all the one-off colour schemes on this page as they’re revealed.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin’s one-off liveries so far have tended to be only very minor variations on its usual colours, but this ‘Rock to Racetrack’ concept in association with sponsor Maaden – a mining and metals company – really is something different for the team.
The livery “traces the transformation of metals and minerals from the earth to high-performance engineering” and “features a colour-shifting, iridescent finish created using a specialist wrap material”. It will “visibly change colour” as Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll lap the track.
McLaren
McLaren’s special ‘metallic papaya and anthracite’ livery will be used across both Monaco and the following Barcelona race weekend, and is designed to celebrate the team’s 1000th grand prix.
Although, as in often the case with such statistics, that milestone has been a bit of a moving target.
